Broken instincts is a spirit built and spirit led company for the man who wants to live a better life. derived from the story of Gideon in the old testament we aim to help men lead better lives by focusing in on 3 key areas- the mind, the body and the spirit.
gideon story:
Gideon was an Israelite who went through a challenging period in his life as a result of he and his people walking away from the lord. initially, Gideon chose to hide in the face of this adversity and began living life in a way that made no sense. one day gideon made the decision to accept the calling on his life and with God's help was able to break free from his circumstances and transform his life.
like Gideon, you may be at a point in your life where you know that you are not living right. somewhere, you veered off the path. the challenges of life have gradually worn you down. slowly at first, almost unnoticeable, then all at once. you hid. bit by bit. the dreams you once had were shoved deep down inside. how did you get here? how do you get out? something still whispers to you. deep in your soul. you were made for more. that muted inner voice. the one that you have choked down and suppressed for too long. the one that constantly nags at you, leaving you unsettled and demanding you make a change. the voice that you know will not let you live at peace until you take that leap of faith.
broken instincts does not exist to create that voice, rather, we exist to inspire others to follow that inner voice. to inspire men through our lifestyle, mission, apparel, events and programs. to embrace the discomfort of the new. to rise up and not hunker down. to boldly step into the new. to answer the call and be the man you were created to be. in all capacities of life; mind, body and spirit. to leave the life of safety and false comfortability behind. to go in the strength that you have. to reclaim and redeem. to lead. its already in you. begin. belong. become.
